2024-2025 Moving to Action Learning Community

Moving to Action

Back by popular demand!

We are excited to announce the Moving to Action Learning Community is back following a successful inaugural experience for teams in 2023-2024. Together, local teams from across the country will be Moving to Action - together as a Nexus community. This program is designed to accelerate Nexus teams’ local projects - what are you working on that needs momentum? Bring your team together to the Moving to Action Learning Community for support and collaboration to achieve your local goals.

The Moving to Action Learning Community will meet four times over the course of 9 months to learn together. Through the process, teams will learn about and use resources to support local practice-education partnerships and share progress on action plans, have dialogue around challenges and discuss how to harness new opportunities as they emerge. Learning Community teams will receive suggested reading and action planning tools in advance of each Learning Community session.

Program Format

Join the Moving to Action Learning Community to build momentum around a local interprofessional initiative or developing partnership. As part of a national community of practice, you and teams from around the country will be learning together. An important part of the program format is also providing dedicated work time for local teams to work together.

Each session will include four elements:

  • Introduction to a new tool or resource to support the team with advancing the local initiative.
  • Teams sharing highlights, observations and lessons learned from practical experiences
  • Team time to work together on a local initiative or new partnership, supported by a new tool or resource.
  • Suggested readings and action planning tools to support continued team development between sessions.
